FAQs

Questions from Edwardsville & Metro East-area patients

I live in Illinois but work in St. Louis. Can I have visits from work?

Not from your workplace in Missouri. You'll need to be in Illinois during the visit, for example at home or somewhere private on the Illinois side. Many patients schedule a morning visit from home before their commute, or a visit on a day they work from home.

Do you accept insurance for Metro East patients?

We're in-network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, UnitedHealthcare and Medicare, and we provide superbills for out-of-network plans. Plan networks can vary, so check your mental health benefits or call us.

Where do I need to be during my telehealth visit?

Anywhere in Illinois where you have privacy and a stable internet connection: home, a parked car, or a private office. Our providers are licensed in Illinois, so you must be physically in the state during each visit.

Do I ever need to come to the Chicago office?

Most patients receive all of their care by video. In a few situations, such as certain rules for controlled-substance prescriptions, an in-person visit may be needed, and our team will explain if that applies to you. If lab work is part of your plan, it can usually be done at a lab near you.

How do I get started?

Complete our secure online registration or call us. A wellness coordinator will help you schedule your first video evaluation and send instructions for joining.
