About Melissa

Driven by a passion to find real solutions for her patients, Dr. Musec brings a comprehensive approach to psychiatric care that goes beyond traditional methods.

Her path to integrative and functional medicine began after seeing too many patients suffer for too long without sufficient answers. Committed to incorporating the latest evidence-based medicine and up-to-date research into her practice, she uses education, nutrition, and environment, alongside medication when it is the right fit, to make a meaningful impact in the lives of her patients and their families.

Dr. Musec practices functional, metabolic and integrative psychiatry: an approach that treats psychiatric conditions by caring for the whole person, not just their symptoms. Her clinical focus spans child, adolescent and adult psychiatry, psychopharmacology, and addiction medicine.

As Director of Psychiatry, Dr. Musec works closely with each of our physician assistants and collaborates on the care of every patient, so you benefit from a team, not just a single prescriber.
